Our Services
Initial Consultation
To begin your garden design process, we will meet with you in your home to fully understand what it is you would like to achieve with your garden makeover, including function, preferred style, and budget.
This meeting generally takes around one hour, and forms the basis of our garden design brief. After the initial consultation, we will provide you with a fee proposal for a concept plan.
Garden and Landscape Designs
Gardens are the result of a collaboration between art and nature – Penelope Hobhouse
The landscape design phase includes a concept plan of the garden, which covers all aspects of the garden design, as well as images and material samples where necessary. Fees will be discussed at your initial consultation.
We pride ourselves on producing creative landscapes and garden designs that suit the functional needs of our clients – and the garden design process is integral to achieving the desired results.
The initial consultation is the beginning of the garden design process. It helps us to design a living space that is unqiue to the clients needs. Considerations such as natural light, wind, rainfall, and yes even pets, all effect the design considerations and selection of plant species. Your intended use of the space (e.g – for entertaining, relaxing, kids play area) along with your preferred styles / themes, are also important details to be aware of.
We use traditional landscape design theory (balance, scale, contrast, unity etc) along with our own creative flair, to produce design concepts and plans that match the needs of our clients. We will clearly outline a vision for your future garden, allowing you to understand and participate in the garden design process.
Once the design has been finalised, we produce final plans that ensure the accurate construction of your garden. If necessary, we can also submit these plans to council for DA approval.

Irrigation and Water Storage
Most people know that nearly 70% of the earth is made up of water. However, did you also know that only 3% of this water is fresh, safe for drinking? This, along with the combination of drought and global warming makes irrigation and water storage a compelling option for future sustainability.
Your lawn maintenance is extremely important, and requires a major source of water. We have sustainable, easy to manage irrigation and water storage solutions that will save water, and will provide you with a long term solution for maintaining your garden.
Anthony Spies Landscapes can source and install water storage tanks, both above ground or in ground. And we can also design and install automatic water irrigation systems that will manage the water distribution for your garden, all day, everyday.
